Portion of Highway FF renamed in honor of late Trooper Bava

A portion of Highway FF in Audrain county will be dedicated to a fallen Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Monday. It will be remained Trooper James M. Bava Memorial Highway. 

Columbia Police respond to two shots fired incidents early Sunday morning

UPDATE, 11:00 a.m.: According to a press release from the Columbia Police Department, around 1:10 Sunday morning, officers were waved down by four women at Hitt Street and Broadway. The women told the officers a man they knew pulled out a gun and pointed it at them during an argument.
