Police on scene of crash in east Columbia, traffic may be affected

Columbia police are on the scene of a crash on Broadway near Brickton Road. At least two vehicles are involved, but there's no word on any injuries. Officers on scene say one vehicle was turning onto Brickton Road and pulled into the path of the other.

Strong law enforcement presence spotted on I-70

A heavy law enforcement presence has been reported along I-70 near the West Boulevard exit in Columbia.  A driver was stopped at the 125 mile marker shortly before noon Friday. One person has been taken into custody, and one car is being towed from the scene. So far there's no word on what led to the traffic stop.

Two more arrested for having drugs in Mexico

Two more people have been arrested in Mexico on suspicion of having drugs, including methamphetamine and marijuana. The arrests happened on the same day two men were arrested for also having meth and marijuana, as well as drug-related paraphernalia.
