POSITION NAME: Creative Services Producer
CLOSES: 05-31-2012

Job Summary: ABC 17, FOX 22, MyZouTV and MeTV is looking for someone to help grow the stations and its properties through commercial production, promotions & marketing on air, online and in the community. The right candidate will be a creative writer with an education and/or background in marketing or video production and the ability to learn on the job and handle multiple projects at the same time. A graphic design skill set would be ideal in the candidate.

The Creative Services Producer will be involved in everything from station branding, to program promotion, commercial production, public service and video production and editing. The employee will be expected to conceive, write, shoot and edit production for ABC 17 News, syndicated programming for ABC 17, FOX 22 and MyZouTV, and to work with local businesses to raise awareness of products, services and important issues within the community with the production of local commercials.

Job Requirements: The right candidate must be a superb creative writer with the ability to develop creative ideas for promotion and marketing and be able to execute those ideas from conception through final product. The employee must be able to work individually and as a member of a team. A basic background in all aspects of video production and non-linear editing is preferred. The ability to grow and improve is a must. A college degree in, communication, marketing, graphic design or video production is preferred. Applicable professional experience is a plus.

The position will require the transport and operation of heavy production equipment. Employees must be able to handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The position will also require operation of a company motor vehicle or personal vehicle on occasion. Employee must provide proof of a valid driver's license and a copy of a current driving record. Driving records can be obtained at the Department of Motor Vehicles, 403 Vandiver, Columbia, MO 65202.

Job Summary: Record and playback programs and commercials. Maintain legal written logs, operate satellite receivers and other associated equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Ability to work independently and to operate under pressure. Should be detail-oriented and organized and capable of multi-tasking. Punctuality and consistant attendance are musts. Must have computer skills and familiarity with a variety of software. Part-Time position, variable hours including overnights, holidays and weekends with some flexibility required by the employee.

High School diploma. Broadcasting experience is preferred but not necessary.
