The Denver Nuggets held their introductory press conference to officially welcome former Mizzou and Tolton forward Michael Porter Jr. to the team on Friday, June 22.
Draft night did not go the way former Mizzou forward Jordan Barnett hoped. However, the end result did.
Tolton Chaplain, Father Mike Coleman watched and built a bond while Michael Porter Jr. was with the Trail Blazers. The wait was longer than expected to hear Porter's name called in the NBA Draft, but it was well worth it for Father Mike.
Michael Porter Jr. was on the board much longer than expected on Thursday night. Nonetheless, his dream is now a reality. Porter Jr. is officially a professional basketball player.
