Lindsey Berning

Lindsey Berning

Lindsey Berning joined ABC 17 News in August of 2014. She came to Mid-Missouri from Lincoln, Nebraska, where she grew up and graduated from the University of Nebraska. She loves covering breaking news and getting to meet new people almost every day!

Before you could catch Lindsey anchoring the morning show, she co-anchored the 5:00 newscast on weeknights and reported for the late evening newscasts. She was also the weekend evening anchor and a general assignment reporter for ABC 17 before that.

In college, Lindsey interned for KLKN-TV in Lincoln. She also worked for the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, the Big Ten Network and the radio station 106.3 KFRX.

Outside of work, you can find Lindsey on the MKT trail, reading a book, trying out a new recipe or cheering on the Huskers. She also loves exploring new hiking spots and trying out different restaurants across Mid-Missouri. If you have any recommendations, let her know!

You can email Lindsey at lindseyb@kmiz.com or follow her on Facebook (@Lindsey Berning ABC17News) and Twitter (@LindseyABC17).
