An open canister of bear repellent ends up repelling hotel guests, employees.

The Raddison Hotel Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco hotel was temporarily evacuated after an employee accidentally set off a canister of bear repellent, according to NBC News.

A maintenance worker found the canister left in a hotel room. Somehow, the canister was set off and the chemicals ended up seeping through the air ducts to all four floors of the hotel, officials said. People complained of trouble breathing and irritation. Hazmat was call to the scene.

Four people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
