Bride-to-be tries to pass meth to inmate in her dentures
Woman asks guard if she can 'kiss' groom after the ceremony
A bride-to-be was arrested after trying to smuggle methamphetamine to her future husband during a prison visit.
According to WBIR, the Scott County Sheriff's Department reported that Brita West came to the detention center in Huntsville to marry prisoner Willard Tinch.
While she was being searched, she asked an officer if she would be able to kiss Tinch after the ceremony. The officer noted that West's dentures kept falling down as she spoke, and saw that West had a something strange in her mouth.
Inside a small package in West's mouth, officers found methamphetamine and two suboxone strips.
West gave officers permission to search her purse and car, and they found more meth, a couple of syringes, and a dollar bill folded with a crushed pill that has not been identified yet.
West is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia,
