A man and woman have decided to get married after spending over eight decades together.

Wheelchair-bound Jose Manuel Riella, 103, married his long-time love Martina Lopez, 99, in a ceremony held at the couples home in Paraguay, reports the BBC. The two had already gotten married in a civil wedding years ago, but had not gone through with a religious ceremony at the time.

The couple have eight children, 50 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren, many of whom attended the wedding.

The priest said they were the oldest newlyweds he had ever known.
