A judge who was dissatisfied with an attorney's courtroom attire ordered him to wear socks in court or face a sanctions.

Judge Dean Young issued an Aug. 25 order directing attorney Todd Glickfield of Marion, Indiana to wear appropriate business attire, including socks and a tie, in future proceedings in Young's Hartford City courtroom, reported The Associated Press.

According to the court order, when Judge Young reminded Glickfield that he needs to wear socks in court, Glickfield replied, "I hate socks."
