JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -

The Sam's Club project in the Capital City is still on schedule to be open by summer 2015.

Crews are quarrying and grading to move material away from the project area.

The pad must be ready to turn over to Sam's Club to begin construction by October 15 of this year.

Rock bluffs must be at least 200 feet from all street rights-of-way, and by contract that has to be on or before January 31, 2015. Quarry officials said they may be completed by the end of the year. Streets will be open to the public by June 2015.
