Car crashes into utility pole, causes portion of Brown School Road to be closed

Road closed for most of day

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. - A few people suffered minor injuries in a three-car collision Saturday morning, Boone County deputies said.

According to online dispatch records, the crash happened just before 11 a.m. on the 600 block of Brown School Road.

Deputies said none of the people involved in the crash were transported to the hospital.

Deputies closed Brown School Road from Creasy Springs Road to Clearview Road because one of the cars crashed into a utility pole, causing the pole to tilt and a transformer to come loose.

Boone Electric Cooperative crews went to the scene and told deputies the road will most likely be closed for several hours while they fix the utility pole.
