COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia Fire Department is reminding drivers to watch out for emergency vehicles on the road.
Columbia Fire Tweeted out this video Friday of a fire truck driving through rush hour traffic at the 63/I-70 connector in east Columbia.
ABC 17 News was told that traffic congestion like this often forces emergency vehicles to drive through all lanes to reach the emergency -- and there are often more emergency vehicles coming if one passes you.
State law requires Missouri drivers to pull over when possible for emergency vehicles. The fire department says if you can't pull over, you should stop your vehicle.
