COLUMBIA, Mo. -

The mayor of Columbia will hold a press conference next week to discuss crime in the city.

Mayor Bob McDavid told ABC 17 News he will discuss "crime and law enforcement" in the city.

The press conference will begin at 10 a.m. and likely take place in City Hall.

McDavid declined to provide details, but said the topics will be “broad-reaching."
