Audrain County jury convicts man of child sex crimes

MEXICO, Mo. - A Mexico, Missouri man was convicted of child sex crimes late Thursday, according to the Audrain County prosecutor's office.

Thomas Miller, 49, was found guilty of child molestation, statutory sodomy, child abuse and endangerment charges. His sentencing is scheduled for September 19. Miller faces a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 44 years.

"Thomas Alan Miller took no responsibility for the repeated abuse, pain and suffering he caused to this survivor," said assistant prosecutor Ashley Turner following the trial. "Thanks to this jury's decision, she can grow stronger, more  confident and discover who she is beyond this abuse."
