Authorities apprehend wanted man in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Boone County sheriff's deputies and Columbia police officers arrested a man on Columbia/Boone County's Most Wanted list Sunday evening.


Authorities took Jalon Pittman, 36, of Columbia, into custody without incident around 5:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Interstate 70 Drive Southwest.


The sheriff's department said Pittman was wanted on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence.

Pittman is being held without bond.
