COLUMBIA, Mo. - UPDATE 11:03 P.M.: Police confirm shots fired on Godas Dr. At least ten shell casings were found, but no people or homes were hit.

Sgt. Richard Horrell said police are still trying to determine how many people were involved. Horrell said he suspected at least two people shot, but was not sure if they were the only two parties involved.

People in the area that ABC 17 News spoke to did not see the shooting, but heard the gunshots around 9:30 p.m. Theresa Campbell said she heard at least eight shots while doing homework, then heard a truck accelerate down Godas Dr.

Campbell said any sort of gun violence is rare for the neighborhood.

Officers did not find any bullet holes in houses or cars, Horrell said. Some people may find them come daytime, he added, and encouraged people to contact police if they did find evidence.
