Deputies investigating shots fired Saturday

Boone County and Columbia police responded to early morning incident

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Boone County deputies said Sunday they had few leads after a weekend shooting incident south of Columbia.

Investigators found several shell casings at the intersection of Sinclair Road and Cascades Drive around 4 a.m. Saturday.

No one has reported injuries after the incident.

Neighbors said they only heard the shots, but did not see anything in the area at the time. Deputies said they had no suspect description as of Sunday.
