Fugitive arrested in Rolla after week-long crime spree

Chad Lange was wanted on warrants for auto theft and burglary

ROLLA, Mo. - Pulaski County deputies ended a week-long crime spree and search early Saturday morning in Rolla.

According to a news release, 38-year-old Chad Lange was arrested at a hotel around midnight. He was taken to Phelps County Regional Hospital and treated for minor injuries he had before his arrest.

Lange had been on the run all week, eluding deputies and other law enforcement several times. He had felony arrest warrants for auto theft and burglary.

Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long said Lange may also face other charges for crimes he committed while on the run in Pulaski and Laclede counties.

Long added that the investigation may lead to charges against other people as well.
