Police investigate robbery at Columbia Break Time convenience store

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Police are investigating an early Friday morning robbery at the Break Time convenience store on Forum Boulevard in Columbia.

Columbia police say a white male entered the store around 1:35 a.m., pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

The suspect was able to flee on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say a K-9 track was unsuccessful and they are not releasing photo or video surveillance.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing 5'4" tall, approximately 130 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, dark hat and tennis shoes.
