HALLSVILLE, Mo. -

A Boone County sobriety checkpoint Saturday netted four driving while intoxicated arrests.

Deputies, along with Columbia and Hallsville police, stopped 100 cars on Highway 40 at Booth Lane west of Columbia.

Three other people were arrested on separate misdemeanors - including one marijuana arrest.

The checkpoint took place between 12:49 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
