Traffic Alert: Emergency crews responding to crash in northeast Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo - UPDATE: Police on scene tell our crews the crash happened between a car and a truck. 

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. 

Police are still investigating what caused the crash but the road is cleared. 

ORIGINAL STORY: Emergency crews are responding to a crash in northeast Columbia.

It happened around 8:00 Tuesday morning near Waco Road and Paris.

At least five emergency units responded to the scene according to public dispatch records.

ABC 17 news is hearing reports that multiple vehicles were involved and that the road is partially blocked.
