Two taken to hospital after crash on Route B at Oakland Church Road

BOONE COUNTY, Mo - UPDATE 10:15am: Officials say one person had to be cut out of the car.

UPDATE 9:46am: Boone County Fire officials say two people were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries after a crash on Route B in Boone County.

Firefighters tweeted a picture of the crash saying they had to cut one person out of the vehicle.

Pictures show the crash is not blocking traffic and fire officials say Route B is open. They're asking drivers to slow down when passing the crash.

There's no word yet on what caused the crash.

ORIGINAL: Emergency crews are responding to a crash in north Boone County right now.

It happened just after 9:00 Tuesday morning on Route B near Oakland Church Road.

Emergency dispatch records show at least 10 units are on the scene.

ABC 17 News has a crew on the way to the area to find out if the wreck is blocking traffic and if anyone was hurt. We'll update this story as we confirm more details.
