Fire crews respond to accident involving Columbia school bus

COLUMBIA, Mo. -

Thursday morning fire crews responded to an accident involving a school bus in Boone County.

The accident happened in the 10000 block of I-70 Drive Southeast.

Columbia school officials confirm it was a Cedar Ridge bus that was rear-ended.

Officials say three kids were on board at the time, none of those children or anyone on the bus were injured.

Boone County fire crews confirm that a mother and child from the passenger car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
