JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -

A federal grand jury indicted a Jefferson City man Wednesday morning for sending and receiving child pornography.

Dustin Trail, 32, is accused of receiving, attempting to distribute and possessing child pornography last year.

According to the indictment, Trail received child pornography on September 3, 2013 and tried to send child pornography over the Internet the next day. The case covers child pornography possession from May 2013 to Oct. 31, 2013.

Trail will be required to turn over his desktop computer, three hard drives and some CDs as part of a forfeiture in the indictment.

The case was investigated by the FBI, Boone County Sheriffs Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations, according to a news release.

A federal jury trial has not been scheduled.
