Man injured in Jefferson City crash

Jonathan Beatty in fair condition Sunday night

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A Jefferson City was flown to the hospital Saturday morning after he crashed into a tree.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show 23-year-old Jonathan Beatty lost control of his car around 8:10 a.m. Saturday.

Beatty's car then hit a tree at 215 Scott Station Road, near Long View Cemetery and West Truman Boulevard.

As of Sunday night, Beatty had been upgraded to fair condition at University Hospital in Columbia.
