MILLER COUNTY, Mo. - Miller County deputies arrested Michael Huber after officers were dispatched to All in One Secure Storage.
According to the probable cause statement, Huber contacted the owner of the storage facility and said he needed to get inside one storage unit for investigative purposes.
The owner told deputies that Huber refused to give his name or the department he was associated with.
Deputies said the owner of the storage facility gave Huber a code to get into the lot, thinking he was with the police. The owner said he reviewed surveillance cameras and saw Huber attempt to get into the back door of the main office and a storage unit, and eventually left after being unable to gain entry.
Days later, deputies received another phone call from the owner who said Huber contacted him again, wanting to come back to the facility and speak with him.
Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with Huber. Officers said they found a marijuana roach on Huber.
Huber told officers he needed to get inside the storage facility to take pictures, and told officers he could prove he was an informant.
Huber was charged with false impersonation of a law enforcement officer, and attempted burglary.
