Overnight fire destroys Jefferson City home

All residents safe and accounted for

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Crews from the Jefferson City Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 2800 block of Kenborg Hills Road shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters arrived to find the small house fully engulfed in flames.

All of the residents of the home were already accounted for and it took crews about 15 minutes to get the blaze under control.

JCFD said the cause of the fire is under investigation and that 11 firefighters, two EMS personnel and one chief officer responded.
