Senate version of 'right to work' legislation advances to House

GOP fast-tracks labor reform

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Senate has passed its own version of the controversial "right to work" legislation.

The labor reform measure, SB 19, was approved 21-12 Thursday morning, advancing it to the House of Representatives.

A similar bill born in the House is awaiting a third and final reading in the Senate, the bill's last stop before the governor's desk.
