BOONE COUNTY, Mo. - UPDATE 6 a.m.: Crews have reopened the 4800 block of St. Charles Road after a tractor-trailer crashed earlier in the morning.

Crews at the scene said they had to empty the truck before they were able to use a crane to lift it upright.

The road was closed for almost six hours.

ORIGINAL: Boone County deputies responded to the 4800 block of St. Charles Road just after 1 a.m. Tuesday for a reported motor vehicle collision.

Authorities said the driver of a tractor-trailer wasn't familiar with St. Charles Road as the truck was headed south.

Deputies said the driver didn't see a curve and overturned on the side of the road.

The driver was not injured.
