Southbound Hwy 63 near Prathersville Road reopens after "police incident"

BOONE COUNTY, Mo - UPDATE 10:38am: Boone County EMA says the road is now reopened. ABC 17 News is still working to find out why crews had to shut it down.

ORIGINAL: Emergency crews have shutdown southbound Highway 63 in north Boone County.

Boone County EMA sent an alert out about the closure near Prathersville Road around 10:15 Wednesday morning.

EMA reports the closure is due to a "police incident."

It's unclear when the highway will reopen.
