St. James police ask for public's help in identifying driver involved in hit and run

MARIES COUNTY, Mo. - St. James police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of a truck involved in a motor vehicle crash. 

Officers said the driver is believed to be a white man with a goatee, wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, work boots and a jacket. The vehicle appears to be a 1999-2002 two-toned blue and silver Chevrolet Silverado Z71. 

Police said the truck came from the area of North 68 and made a left turn onto Highway B. The truck was involved car crash and then left the scene.
