The Japanese auto giant made the announcement Tuesday after reports of sticking accelerator pedals-- It came less than one week after it recalled more two million vehicles. Toyota's Web site answers 'frequently asked questions' for people owning any of the suspended models.

The site tells consumers the chances of experiencing problems with the accelerator are rare, and owners do not need to take immediate action. The Joe Machens Toyota dealership of Columbia says the biggest problem may not lie in the car itself.

"The biggest problem is people panic," said Dan Kellar, GM at Joe Machens. "It's a situation they're not used to."

If problems do persist, Toyota advises drivers to pull over and contact a local dealership. If problems happens while driving, they advise drivers to use both feet and press firmly on the brake pedal, pull to the side, and put the car in neutral.

Owner notifications are expected to follow, and people can contact their local dealer for repairs. Kellar hopes those notifications will be sent shortly.

"It's nothing I've got cold facts on," said Kellar. "But within three to four weeks we should start seeing partsAdobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended download come in and customers being notified."

The eight suspended models include: 2009-2010 Rav 4, the 2009-2010 Corolla, the 2009-2010 Matrix, the 2005-2010 Avaion, the 2007-2010 Camry, the 2010 Highlander, the 2007-2010 Tundra, and the 2008-2010 Sequoia.

This recall came just months after Toyota recalled another 4.2 million vehicles because of gas pedals that could become trapped under floor mats.
