Recovering meth addict Tammy McGaha tells ABC 17 News the drug is rampant and easily available.

"All you have to do is say, 'Hey, I have money,' and anybody can get it for you." said McGaha.
The 41-year old battled a meth addiction for 15 years. She points to its accessibility for the ongoing rise.
"It's just so very abundant," said McGaha. "It's just a spreading monster that just gets bigger and bigger and bigger."

Law enforcement officials tell ABC 17 News they will continue to fight the war on meth through cracking down on abusers. The Missouri State Highway Patrol trains its troopers to bust meth abusers, but admit the battle will be long.
"As long as there is a demand for the product out there, people are going to manufacture it," said Hotz.
