Feb 7, 2010 - More Riots in Haiti
Hundreds of Haitians hit the streets Sunday demanding food and claiming political corruption.
Protesters chanted and waved tree branches as they blamed the Port-Au-Prince Mayor for their hunger. They believe she is charging people to receive free coupons from the World Food Program for bags of rice.

Local ministries teamed up Saturday morning to help earthquake victims in Haiti.
Volunteers met at Fairview United Methodist Church in Columbia to pack more than 10,000 health kits—including toothbrushes, towels, bandages and combs. Items were donated from several area churches of various denominations over the past few weeks, and organized by the Office of Creative Ministries.
"Packing that hand towel, and toothbrush, and putting in packaging, you know the next time someone reaches the kits it will be someone in Haiti who has nothing, said Terri Williams, of Office of Creative Ministries. "So it's a way to reach out in a simple way."
The kits will be driven to Little Rock, Arkansas, and shipped to Haiti from there through Church World Services.
Other charities across the US have expressed some concerns about shipping items to Haiti because of cost and complications—However organizers of Saturday's event are confident the items will get overseas.
