The Callaway County Sheriff's Office tells ABC 17 News they are now looking into a possible connection between a weekend shooting and other recent disturbances.
Early Sunday morning, three people were shot outside the 63 Sports Complex in Callaway County, near Jefferson City. Right now authorities have not named any suspects.
A Callaway County sergeant said Wednesday there are several recent disturbances, at least a couple involving guns, in both Jefferson City and Columbia that may be related to the shooting.
The sergeant also said they are working with several other mid-Missouri agencies to look into a number of leads.
