Four Pulaski County residents ended up in the Maries County jail after deputies say they found a meth lab operating in Brinkstown.
Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Rogers Creek early Friday morning. While searching, deputies say they found numerous items related to manufacturing methamphetamine, as well as a quantity of the drug and drug paraphernalia.
Four people were arrested as a result, one of whom apparently tried to hide from deputies in the rafters. The arrested include 33-year-old Melissa Smiley, 34-year-old Timothy Archer and 28-year-old Kevin Jennings, all from Dixon, as well as 30-year-old Shanda Patton from Waynesville.
All are being held on drug-related charges in Maries County. Jennings is also in jail on drug-related warrants out of Pulaski County and Jefferson City, and Archer is being held on a drug charge from Miller County.
