One Arrested in Cole County Drug Bust

Deputies said they found "a large, sophisticated meth lab" on Twin Bridges Road early Tuesday.

One man was arrested and a meth lab and several weapons were seized early Tuesday after Cole County sheriff's deputies raided a home on Twin Bridges Road.

 

Deputies served a search warrant around 2:30 a.m. at 4600 Twin Bridges Road. There, they found a meth lab including anhydrous ammonia and two grams of the drug. Also, they found one shotgun, two rifles, one handgun and other drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the Cole County Sheriff's Department.

 

One person was arrested, though authorities have not made public the person's name pending formal charges. The person is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription medication, attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of anhydrous ammonia and felon in possession of firearms.
