Water Patrol was busy at the Lake of the Ozarks this holiday weekend.
Medical crews transported a 52 year old person to the hospital after the boat she was on hit rough water, throwing her into the air. She landed in the boat, but injured her back.
Medical crews also had to transport a 23 year old woman from St. Louis to the hospital after she hit her head on a wakeboard while being pulled behind a boat. Officers consider her injuries "moderate."
Also on the Lake, 11 people got into a boat leaving Shady Gators restaurant this afternoon, but didn't get too far. Water Patrol had to help them out because they grounded the boat.
