Triggerman in Columbia Shooting Pleads Guilty

The man who pulled the trigger during a Columbia shooting last year pleaded guilty in a Boone County courtroom Monday and was sentenced to seven years behind bars.

The man who pulled the trigger during a Columbia shooting last year pleaded guilty in a Boone County courtroom Monday and was sentenced to seven  years behind bars.

 

 

Javion Wallace pleaded guilty to second degree assault and armed criminal action.

 

 

Prosecutors say the driver of the car during the shooting was Christopher Robinson, who has a pre-trial hearing in a week.

 

 

The men were in a truck on Omaha Court in north Columbia in September 2009.  Police said a house and a car were hit with stray gunfire, but no one was hurt.
