Accident Kills Both Drivers

An accident late Friday night in Cole County on Route J near Old Route J killed both drivers.

Missouri Highway Patrol say Charles Dyson, 36, of Jefferson City crossed over the center line and struck Kevin Matheson, 30, of Jefferson City head on. Both were pronounced dead on the scene by the Cole County coroner shortly after midnight.

Highway patrol says Dyson wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time.
