Osage County Fire Damages Home

Firefighters were called to 5395 Spruce Lane just before 2 a.m. Monday.

A fire Monday afternoon left an Osage Beach home with about $75,000 in damage, firefighters said.

 

Emergency crews were called to 5395 Spruce Lane just before 2 a.m., according to a spokesman for the Osage Beach Fire Protection District. There, firefighters found a two-story home with heavy smoke showing from the attic and roof area.

 

The fire was caused by a lightning strike and resulted in about $75,000 in damage to the home, firefighters said.

 

Fire crews were on the scene for about 90 minutes.
