Two MU graduates pleaded guilty Wednesday to their role in a nationwide e-mail spamming scheme.
Osmaan Shah, 26, of Columbia, and his brother Amir Shah, 29, of St. Louis admitted in federal court to the charges in a 2009 federal indictment.
They got a hold of and used millions of email addresses illegally from computers at hundreds of universities, including MU.
They have to give back more than $400,000, and they could face up to eight years in federal prison without parole.
It comes after co-defendant Paul Zucker of New Jersey pleaded guilty earlier this month.
