The Spoon Gets A Deal

Former Tiger Sean Weatherspoon signs 5 year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

ABC17 has confirmed former MU standout linebacker Sean Weatherspoon has agreed to a contract with the Atlanta Falcons.

Spoon who was a 3 year starter for the Tigers was picked 19th overall in the NFL Draft April.  He gets a 5 year deal worth $17.5 million dollars...$10 million of that is guaranteed.

As Thursday, Weatherspoon is just the sixth first round draft pick to sign this summer.
