Two men injured after boat explodes at the Lake of the Ozarks

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. - Two men were hurt Wednesday evening when their boat exploded at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri Highway Patrol's water patrol division said that the father and son from Sugarland, Texas, had just restarted their boat after refueling at Davey Hollow Cove around 5:30 p.m. when the explosion occurred.

20-year-old Jonathen T. Wienecke suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital. His father, 52-year-old Allen T. Wienecke was treated at the scene.
