COLUMBIA, Mo. - UPDATE (2/3): Boone County authorities confirm a second arrest has been made in connection to Friday's home invasion in the 5000 block of Creasy Springs Road that sent one person to the hospital.
Deputies arrested Jerry Troy Friday night in connection to the incident. He was arrested on suspicion of assault, burglary, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Deputies arrested his brother, James Troy, on Hackberry Boulevard shortly after the home invasion and shooting Friday afternoon.
Both are being held on $150,000 cash-only bonds.
UPDATE 8 pm: The suspect in this afternoon's armed home invasion and shooting on Creasy Springs Road has been identified as 19-year-old James Troy.
Troy was arrested on suspicion of assault, burglary, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. He's currently being held in the Boone County Jail without bond. He's scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.
UPDATE 3:50 pm: A Boone County detective said the victim was a 19-year-old man.
The shooting happened during a home invasion around 2 p.m.
The suspect was taken into custody at a residence on Hackberry Boulevard.
Officers said they also recovered a pistol at the residence that was reported stolen in November.
No identities have been released at this time.
UPDATE 3 pm: Deputies confirm a shooting took place in the 5000 block of North Creasy Springs Road.
One person was taken to the hospital with a gun shot wound that was non-life threatening and one person is in custody.
ORIGINAL STORY: Boone County deputies and troopers responded to the 5000 block of North Creasy Springs Road on Friday afternoon.
ABC 17 is hearing reports of a shooting in the area but law enforcement has not confirmed why they are on scene.
ABC 17 crews saw five Boone County patrol cars, including a K-9 unit. They also saw an ambulance and another deputy with lights on speed off.
