"Duck Dynasty," the A&E reality show that follows the Phil Robertson Family through the swamps of Louisiana and the Duck Commander hunting supplies warehouse, is entering the sports world.

Duck Commander will sponsor a NASCAR race and Texas and become the title sponsor of the Independence Bowl in their home state.

The Duck Commander Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., is likely to be played in January 2015.

Phil Robertson, who founded Duck Commander as a duck call company that has ballooned to a leading national brand of hunting gear and accessories, was a quarterback at Louisiana Tech. For two seasons, he started ahead of Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw, including a 34-0 loss to a Bear Bryant-coached Alabama team in 1966.

The net worth of "Duck Dynasty" was estimated at $500 million by CNN Money in January.
