The Miami Dolphins signed defensive end Rakim Cox and waived running back Cameron Marshall, the team announced Monday.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Cox joins the Dolphins from the Minnesota Vikings where he spent a portion of the 2014 offseason prior to being released on Aug. 4. He originally signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 10.

A four-year player at Villanova, Cox appeared in 48 games totaling 105 tackles (67 solo), 18 sacks, 33.5 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions.
