Mizzou football signed 28 players on Wednesday, including several stars like Andy Bauer and Nate Brown.
Bauer's situation was particularly interesting. He was a Missouri commit before Ole Miss came in and wooed the Under Armour All-American out of De Smet High School. In the middle of Missouri's 12-2 season, however, Bauer had a change of heart and re-committed to the Tigers.
Overall, Missouri signed five offensive linemen.
The Tigers also signed one local high school football star, Grant Jones from Hickman high school. The senior wide receiver is the son of Missouri running backs coach Brian Jones.
Missou also got a few pleasant surprised on Wednesday, nabbing players who were former verbal commits to other schools before National Signing Day.
The Tigers were able to sign DeSean Blair, a wide receiver out of Jacksonville, FL. Blair was a Louisville commitment before Charlie Strong left to take the Texas job. Since then, Missouri had been on him and on Wednesday, he made his MU commitment official.
The same can also be said for defensive lineman Spencer Williams. Williams was a long-time Cincinnati commitment before switching his pledge to the Tigers.
Mizzou had five players sign early and are currently enrolled at the University, including quarterback Marvin Zanders and cornerback Logan Cheadle.
