The forecast for the next two weeks looks more like spring as temperatures will be closer to normal and we'll have shower and t-storm chances. A warming trend will continue into the weekend with highs near 70 by Saturday. A cold front will move through late Saturday bringing a slight chance of a shower or t-storm. As that front moves back to the north and becomes stationary over Missouri, showers and t-storms will become more  likely late in the day Sunday with periods of t-storms possible through Tuesday. Cooler air is expected to drop in for the last half of next week with drier weather to end the week.

As we head into the middle of April medium range forecast models show the jet stream moving in from the southwest sending warmer air into the nation's mid-section. There could be a few t-storms the weekend of the 13th & 14th and again around the 17th as temperatures climb.
