A line of showers and t-storms will form along a cold front which will move into Mid-Missouri by late evening.  Some of the storms could be strong or severe as they enter northwestern Missouri. Widespread severe weather is not expected but a few severe storms are possible, mainly northwest of HWY 54. Damaging wind and large hail are the primary threats.  The line of storms will move into northwestern Missouri by early evening and into Mid-Missouri from mid to late evening, quickly moving southeast and out of the area by 2 a.m. As the line moves southeast, the chance of severe weather will decrease.
